At our recent membership meeting, we provided an update on LILA‘s 2025 public awareness campaign: Only Hire Licensed—a vital initiative to protect Long Islanders using car, limo, or van services.

Video Launch urging residents to “Only Hire Licensed”

High-level meetings to create awareness around the public safety issue regarding unlicensed operators with Suffolk County Executive Ed Romaine, East End Police Chiefs Association, Town of Babylon Supervisor Rich Schaffer, and Islip officials, Supervisor Angie Carpenter and MacArthur Airport Commissioner Shelley LaRose-Arken.
