In this special feature, Jorge Rosario, Special Assistant Town Attorney for the Town of Babylon, discusses a major collaborative effort with the Long Island Limousine Association (LILA) to crack down on illegal and uninsured drivers operating within the community.
Through its partnership, LILA provided key information identifying those conducting unlawful transportation services and the Town of Babylon’s investigative team used that information to conduct undercover rides, gather evidence, and bring these individuals to justice through the Town’s Quality of Life Court, resulting in $11,000.
